Lisa Marie Piazza's Obituary
Lisa Marie Piazza, 53, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at the Francis House after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse and was a 1975 graduate of Henninger High School and a 1977 graduate of Canton College. Lisa was a Senior Property Manager with Centro Properties until 2008. She was a communicant of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church. Lisa was a member of Graces Support group and loved the ocean, traveling, dancing and crocheting. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her nieces and nephews. Her quick wit and quirky sense of humor will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her father, Carl C. Piazza. Lisa is survived by her mother, Connie (Monello) Piazza; brother, Carl R. Piazza of Syracuse, sisters, Linda J. (John) Turi of Weston, FL., and Julie A. (Patrick) Seiden of Hicksville, NY; five nieces and nephews, Natalia, Carla, Anthony, Jake and Carly; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, Rev. Paul Angelicchio will be officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa's memory may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, ocrf.org or to the Francis House.
