Loren J. Milam Jr.'s Obituary
Loren J. Milam Jr., 82, of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Illinois and resided in the Syracuse area for the last forty years. Loren served in the Korean War as a Senior Master Sergeant and was part of the Berlin airlift. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service. Loren was a former commander and member of the VFW Post 7290. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and was a very active member of the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club. Loren is survived by several brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his closest friends, the Barrett & Robb Families.. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm Tuesday in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, Rev. Msgr. J. Robert Yeazel will officiate. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm. Contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
