Loretta A. (Hanus) Charles' Obituary
Loretta A. (Hanus) Charles, 83, of Pennellville, passed away Monday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Harold and Helen Hanus. Loretta was employed with New Process Gear and then Varsity Sport Shop in downtown Syracuse. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter L. Charles in 1967. Loretta is survived by her son, Peter J. (Catherine) Charles of Pennellville; six grandchildren, Katie, Vickie, Gary, Daisy, Samantha and Peter, II; twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 am with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
