Loretta A. "Dolly" (Salamino) Grillo's Obituary
Loretta A. “Dolly” (Salamino) Grillo, 87, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. She was born in Syracuse and worked as the Admitting Office Manager at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 41 years before her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sebastian and Elnora (Cisternino) Salamino; her first husband, August Sackett, and many brothers and sisters.
Loretta is survived by her husband of 38 years, Louis Grillo; her daughter, Annette A. (Michael) Ferrante; her step-children, Jeanine (Jeff) Scott and David (Sandy) Grillo; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kendall, Maria, Emma and Gray; her sister, Mary Nicoletti, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St. on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 8:45 am to 9:45 am, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Loretta’s life at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
