Lorraine A. (Marrapese) Walters' Obituary
Lorraine A. (Marrapese) Walters, 78, of Syracuse, passed away November 30, 2021 at Elderwood at Liverpool from a combination of illnesses. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Adrian and Louise (Molinelli) Marrapese.
Lorraine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry Walters. She is also survived by three daughters: Mellisa Rebensky of Liverpool, Maria Featherstone of Syracuse and Gina Walters of Lyncourt; six grandchildren: David, Joseph, Lauren, Stephanie, Andrew, and Adrian, and one great-granddaughter, Noelle. She also has a brother, Lawrence “Larry” Marrapese of Syracuse.
Lorraine was a very devoted wife, caring mother, and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren and all the sometimes-crazy adventures that came with it. Her witty humor and spit fire personality kept her family entertained and she never stopped moving. Lorraine was proud of her Italian heritage and felt lucky to grow up with loving parents who we all treasured dearly. If she was here today, she would want those around her to do what they love because in this world you don’t get a second chance. It is her family’s hope that she finds peace and comfort in her eternal home, in the company of her parents.
