Louis A. Capparelli, Sr.'s Obituary
Louis A. Capparelli, Sr., 92, of Camillus, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse to the late Antonio and Josephine (DePalma) Capparelli. Louis enjoyed long car rides with his late wife, Doris, as well as singing and socializing with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Doris and his two sisters and one brother.
Louis is survived by his three sons, Anthony L. (Pam) Capparelli, James M. (Kathy) Capparelli, and Louis A. (Dawn) Capparelli, Jr.; his two daughters, Cynthia (Mariano) Ruggeri and Debra A. Mills; 7 grandchildren, Mariano, Christopher, Dana, Alicia, James, Zachary, and Alexandra; 9 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A calling hour will take place from 10:45 A.M. – 11:45 A.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Holy Family Church, Fairmount followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 P.M. in the church. He will be laid to rest with his wife, Doris in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
