Louis L. Colangelo's Obituary
Louis L. Colangelo, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on January 16, 2026.
Louis was born on January 5, 1943, in Little Falls, New York. A man of deep faith, he lived his life guided by compassion, generosity, and a genuine desire to help others. He was a devoted husband and father whose family was the center of his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anita Colangelo; his sons, David Colangelo and Darin Colangelo; his grandchildren, Maria (Colangelo) Simon, Stephen Colangelo, Aidan Colangelo, and Jonathan Colangelo; his great-granddaughter, Anna Rae Marie Simon; and his sister, Georgia Isereau.
Louis will be remembered for his kindness and unwavering commitment to his faith and to those he loved. We commend him to the mercy of God, trusting in the promise of eternal life.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Sacred Heart Church of Cicero, 8229 Brewerton Road Cicero, NY 13039.
