son of the late Salvatore and Seraphina Farchione. He graduated with a Bachelor's
degree from Cornell University in 1943 and received his Doctor of Medicine in 1946
from Cornell University Medical College.
Lou served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during WWII. As a Board Certified

song to sing for any circumstance, and loved ballroom dancing with his beloved wife,
Lucille. Religion and spirituality were very important to Lou. He was a long-term
Eucharistic minister at St. John the Evangelist Church and at Crouse Hospital and was
on the Pediatric Spiritual Care Committee at Upstate.
