Louise Frances (Cantello) Clark's Obituary
Louise Frances (Cantello) Clark, 67, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Francis House surrounded by her loving family on April 19, 2025. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Hoffsher) Cantello. Louise graduated from St Lucy’s and was a devout catholic. She began her 20+ year career at Weight Watchers in the AR department where she made lifelong friends, and then worked as a bank teller at Empower FCU. Louise enjoyed playing Bunko with her bunko ladies, making tie blankets, and baking her delicious cookies at Christmastime. She enjoyed all her time with her cousins and talking about her big Italian family. Louise had a love for all animals, especially cats. She used to feed all the strays.
She was predeceased by her cats: Mia, Mandy and Barkley.
Louise is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 47 years, Patrick Clark; two sons: Joseph (Mindy) Clark, Daniel Clark and his longtime girlfriend, Tricia Bailey; her sister, Elaine (Daniel) Finnigan; sisters-in-law: Linda (Carla) Hill and Debbie Williams; beloved nieces and nephews: Anthony (Stefanina) Crisafulli, Marie (James) Morrison, Lauren (Justin Pecore) Finnigan, and Deana (Kheim) Nguyen; great nieces and nephews whom she cherished, Justin Jr, Antonio, Angelina, Antonino, Carmella, Elaina, Lorenzo, Joey, Ava and Aria; her Cantello cousins whom she shared a special bond with, and her many friends including Rachel Cosgrave and Kathy Scarson and neighbor, Casey Doyle; along with her cat Sassy and grand dogs: Nanuk, Tikaani, and Atka.
Special thank you to all the staff at Francis House for taking such great care of Louise and being so kind to her family.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Louise’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Church. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 4 – 6 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
