Louise (Vona) Cirino's Obituary
Louise (Vona) Cirino, 92, of Liverpool passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025.
Born and raised in Syracuse, daughter of the late Carmen and Mary (Zagame) Vona, Louise graduated from North High School, class of 1952. Louise worked at NY Telephone Company in the 1950s and 1960s and then in the laundry room at LeMoyne Manor in the 1980s.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Carmen “Tony” Cirino, her parents, her brothers, Thomas Vona and Joseph Vona, her sisters, Josephine (Mirra) Mangicotti, and Carmella Orr, and her half-sister, Lucia (Vona) Mastronardi.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Cirino, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was known to almost everyone as “Aunt Louise” and she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and taking care of her friends & family. You never left her house hungry.
There are no calling hours at the request of Louise, however, a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30pm on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church of Cicero, 8229 Brewerton Rd., Cicero, NY. The Rite of Committal and burial will be immediately following mass at Assumption Cemetery.
