Louise Madalene Giorgi's Obituary
Louise Madalene Giorgi, 99, of Liverpool, passed away March 15, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Matteo and Teresa Giorgi, and graduated from Assumption School. Louise got her first job at Easy Washer, and after they closed, she worked at Crouse Hinds for the duration of her career, retiring at 70. She was a devout catholic, and communicant of Our Lady of Pompei and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Louise was a long-time S.U. sports fan and season ticket holder for many years, and avid NY Yankees fan. She loved to travel throughout Europe and even traveled with SU to bowl games.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, George Gene (Madalene) Giorgi and Dr. Angelo L. (Bette) Giorgi; her niece, Jeanne M. Ciravolo and nephew, Larry D. Giorgi.
Louise is survived by her niece; Barbara A. (Frank) Groth; three nephews, Joseph R. Ciravolo, Stephen J. Giorgi and Daniel K. Giorgi; several great nieces and nephews; many great great nieces and nephews; a great great great nephew, and also her Blum family cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Louise’s life will follow at 12:30 pm at Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 8290 Soule Rd., Liverpool, NY. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
