Louise A. (Speach) Menickelli's Obituary
Louise A. (Speach) Menickelli, 72, of Liverpool, passed away Friday at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of Joseph, Sr. and Genevieve (Smith) Speach. Louise became a single mother at the age of 32 when she lost her husband. She was devoted to her parents and raising her two children. As a single mom, she balanced raising a family while earning an honest and decent living as a Dental Hygienist for over 40 years. Louise was dedicated to her Christian faith, she enjoyed music, singing, dancing, and laughing with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Joseph A. Speach, Sr. in 2011, and her husband, Gene A. Menickelli in 1976.
Louise is survived by her son, Todd (Kristen) Menickelli of Baldwinsville; her daughter, Deanna (David) Boudov of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren, Alida, Anthony, Gibson, Michael, and Bailey Louise; her mother, Genevieve (Smith) Speach; one brother, Joseph A. (Paula) Speach, Jr. of TN; her uncle, Francis Speach, her aunt, Lottie Szczurek, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Louise’s life at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
