Lucille (Garafolo) DelPriore's Obituary
Lucille (Garofalo) DelPriore, 79, of Camillus, was reunited with her parents, Dominick, and Fannie Garofalo, on April 24, 2024. Born in Syracuse, Lucille graduated Blodgett Vocational High School, was employed by GE, before attending Contemporary School of Beauty to become a hairdresser. She owned and operated Lucille’s Hair Salon on Avery Ave. for over 20 years. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and enjoyed her nights doing arts and crafts.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard J. DelPriore; 3 children, Dominic R. DelPriore, Joseph A. DelPriore, and Rose M. (Daniel) Hammond; 3 grandchildren, Angelina, Sara, and Domenico; 3 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Jaxon, and Jayden; 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Dominic) Ciciarelli, Doreen (Michael) Burak; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 9:45 – 10:45 A.M., followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Church 5600 W. Genesse St. Camillus. She will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
