Lucille (DeGelorm) Granteed's Obituary
Lucille (DeGelorm) Granteed, 95, passed away peacefully Friday at Francis House surrounded by her loving family. A native of Pittston, Pa. she resided in the Syracuse area most of her life. Lucille most loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael Granteed in 1996, her daughter Lucille in 1970 and parents Louis and Concetta (Orlando) DeGelorm. Her brothers James, Peter, Nicholas ,and Michael and her sister Lizzy.
She is survived by her sons: Joseph (Marianne) Granteed, of North Syracuse and Michael (Ginger) Granteed of Syracuse. 5 grandchildren: Joseph Granteed,Jr., Michelle (Ronald) DeTota, Maura (Matthew) Secor, Deanna (Edward) Schlueter and Adrienne Maret, 9 great-grandchildren, her brother Louis DeGelorm, of Mattydale, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to Marie for her care and attention to Lucille.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Thomas J. Pirro, Jr. Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse. Entombment will be in the Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. North Syracuse ( corner of Buckley Rd.) Monday from 4 to 7 P.M.
