Lucille "Lucy" (Nesci) Hall's Obituary
Lucille (Nesci) Hall, 78, of Liverpool, passed away from a brief illness on Sunday with her family members at her side. Lucille was fondly referred to as “Lu Lu” or “Lucy”. She was a native and life resident of Syracuse. As a young woman she was a book keeper and events planner for Mr. Mikes Restaurant. Lucille was also a business woman and owned Reflections Disco Tech, and later worked for James Riccelli until retirement.
Her passion was her family. She was the family babysitter watching over many of her nieces, and nephews and their children. She enjoyed Saturday night dinners with her son-in-law, shopping with her daughter, traveling and taking road trips to New York City to see her son, especially during Christmas. That was what she truly loved to do, but don't forget Chico, her beloved dog and true companion.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ilario and Concetta Nesci; sisters, Carmelina Nesci, Theresa (Charles) Childs, and Eleanor (Adelbert) Warner, and brothers, Larry (Mary Jane) Nesci and Tony (Annette) Nesci.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Donald Hall; her children; Linda (Bob) Riccelli and Donald P. Hall; her sister, Ann (Jim) Murty, and brothers, Joseph (Maria) Nesci, James (Deanna) Nesci, Michael (Marlene) Nesci, Richard Nesci, and Patrick (Carol) Nesci; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 - 11:00 am, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Lucy’s life at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash Street, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Ronald McDonald House, 1100 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13210.
"We will remember her love of life, family, friends, and we will miss her dearly."
