Lucy (Borelli) Borel's Obituary
Lucy (Borelli) Borel, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Born in Syracuse to the late Patrick and Anella (Bagnuto) Borelli, Lucy attended North High School and retired after 24 dedicated years from U.S. Air. She was the longest tenured resident at Presidential Plaza, living there beginning in the 1960s.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Anthony Borelli; her sisters, Connie Burns and Joya Tucci.
Lucy is survived by her sons, Nicholas P. and James M. Vecchiarelli; her beloved grandsons, James “J.R.” (Taylor) Vecchiarelli, Jr. and Joseph Vecchiarelli; great-grandchildren, Luca, and Remi Vecchiarelli; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Lucy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
