Madeline Gick's Obituary
Madeline Mattucci Ferroni Gick, 91, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Sunday with her daughter by her side at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. Madge was born in Buffalo, NY on Christmas Day, 1919 and continued to reside in this city until moving to Baldwinsville in 1987. Madge took pride in being a beautician for over fifty years, but will be remembered most for being a one of a kind daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who always marched to the beat of her own drum. She is survived and will be forever cherished by her daughter, Jennifer (Bob) Scalione of Liverpool; son, Anthony (Mary) Ferroni of Phoenix, AZ; her six grandchildren, Stacey (Joe) Muscolino of Baldwinsville; Robert (Julie) Scalione of Clarence, NY, Julie (Jim) Griglio of Fairview, NJ, AJ Ferroni, Matthew (Jessie) Ferroni and James Ferroni, of Arizona and Wyoming; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Lemme and brother-in-law, Pasquale Bolognese, both of Buffalo. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
