Madeline Tartaglia's Obituary
Madeline (Mancini) Tartaglia, 101, formerly of Eastwood went to be with our Lord with her loving family by her side on Tuesday at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend to all. Madeline was employed with LC Smith for many years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lady of Fatima and their Altar Rosary Society. Madeline was also a member of St. Mary's Maternity and Children's Hospital Guild and the Red Hat Society. She loved baking, gardening, knitting afghans and spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Tartaglia in 1970. Madeline is survived by her son, Anthony A. (Mary Anne) Tartaglia of Brewerton; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson; a sister, Josephine Kinne of Naples, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions in Madeline's memory may be made to Hospice or the Francis House.
