Marc Harry Rice, 43, of Buffalo, NY, passed away on March 11, 2021. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of Theresa and the late Harry “Bob” Rice. Marc graduated from Henninger High School in 1995 and attended The University of Buffal Read Obituary
I didnt hear of Marc's passing right away because I no longer work at JTs, where I got to know him. I always loved to work with Marc, he was kind and funny and generous and always had a pretty girl coming to the bar to chat him up. He was a wonderful friend, coworker and one of the few bartenders left in the industry who exemplified the art of hospitality. Mainly I remember him for his kindness and humor and he will be missed. My love to his family and friends.

Incredibly sad to hear of Marcs passing. Whether it was walking to Salem Hyde together in the morning when my mom babysat Jeff and Tony or being roommates at UB our freshman year, I always loved being around him. He was truly one of my closest friends growing up. We unfortunately didn't keep in touch after UB but I thought of him often and wished we would have stayed connected. He's was a wonderful friend and always looked to bring someone up when they were down. My heart goes out to his family. Marc I love you and will greatly miss you.
Marc, from when you first started at JT’s we became close friends getting food after work and enjoying our super fun brunch shifts! I’ll never forget when we made you try and oyster at Toutant one Sunday (and one was plenty for you) Learned a lot from you and will always have our movie and song memories because of my “old soul”. Fly high Marc you will always be remembered and loved in our hearts.
Marc was so charming and sweet.He made friends easily and enjoyed life.
My kids(his cousins) are saddened by his passing. We all are. The memories we will hold on to are happy times, adventures, family get togethers and love.

I actually have too many wonderful memories to list! My daughter taylor always called him Marc, with a C.lol
He was a wonderful best friend,shoulder to cry on and very charismatic.
