Marcus R. Wise's Obituary
Marcus R. Wise, 21, of Auburn, NY, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2025. Marcus was born in Auburn, NY, on July 22, 2003, to Richard and Susan Wise.
Marcus grew up on a dairy farm. He later worked for a neighboring farmer. He was currently working for Scipio Custom Ag.
Marcus was a member at Abundant Life Church and was currently serving with the Jr. High youth class. He had a deep faith in God and touched the lives of many youths.
Marcus enjoyed helping with our Maple Syrup Operation. He enjoyed serving with disaster relief projects. He enjoyed hiking, water sports, traveling, and singing. Marcus was an amazing son. He worked hard, made many friends, but also enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Susan Wise; five brothers: Timothy Wise, Lamar (Destinee) Wise, Elmer Wise, Lloyd Wise, and Nathaniel Wise; four sisters: Mary Joyce Wise, Lovina Wise, Susanne Wise, and Elma Wise; grandparents: John and Elma Sensenig, and Lloyd and Esther Wise, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 10 am – 12 pm at Abundant Life Church, 7000 All Nations Blvd., East Syracuse, NY 13057, followed by a funeral service in celebration of Marcus’ life at 12 pm at the church. He will be laid to rest in Owasco Rural Cemetery.
