Margaret A. (Leskoske) Alivero's Obituary
Margaret A. (Leskoske) Alivero, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday at home surrounded by her loving family. Margaret was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late, Edward and Kathleen (Lynn) Leskoske. Margaret worked for over 30 years at Roxboro Road Elementary. She loved spending time with the children there, and they affectionately called her “Mrs. A”. She was a lifetime communicant of Assumption Church and was very devoted to her faith and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel R. “Rich” Alivero, her parents, and her infant daughter, Victoria Kathleen Alivero.
She is survived by two daughters, Alicia Alivero and Monica (Anthony) Bova; grandchildren, Victoria Alivero and Jack Bova; great-grandson, Bryson; her aunt, Rita Leskoske; eight siblings, Kathleen (Ed) Kelley, James Leskoske (Marge Kantak), Mary (Marty) Sherman, Joseph (Kathy) Leskoske, Thomas (Sue) Leskoske, John (Donna) Leskoske, Patricia (Jim) Kelley and Michael Leskoske; many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral mass in celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St. Syracuse. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
