Margaret "Maggie" (Sheridan) DeCerce's Obituary
Margaret “Maggie” (Sheridan) DeCerce, 81, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Maggie was an avid reader and casino-enthusiast who saved every greeting card she’d ever been given. She loved Tiger Woods, pitch, the chicken dance, and family photos. Maggie was fond of the gab, chocolate, and complaining about the potatoes at Wegmans.
Maggie was predeceased by her husband, Karl; her parents, Catherine, and William Sheridan; her fraternal twin, Martin Sheridan; siblings: Lenore Sheridan, Eileen Whitham, Catherine Chanley, Mary Elizabeth, Donald, William, Phillip, and Patrick Sheridan.
Maggie is survived by her daughters, Deirdre (John) Fisher, Adrienne DeCerce, and Lennie DeCerce (Shawn Cole); grandsons, Christopher (Mary Katherine) Fisher and Matthew (Cassandra) Fisher; siblings, Anne Yager, Marie Feiman, Michael Sheridan, and Daniel Sheridan; in-law’s, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; friends and her bestie, Peggy O’Brien.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 26, from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO, JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212. A Funeral service in celebration of Maggie’s life will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
