Margaret (Renzi) Detran's Obituary
Margaret (Renzi) Detran, 97, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at The Cottages at Garden Grove, Cicero. Born on November 28, 1927, in Syracuse, NY, she was the cherished daughter of Frederick Renzi and Viola Germani.
Margaret dedicated 34 years of her life to Learbury, where she skillfully pressed suits and built lifelong friendships. A woman of remarkable kindness, resilience, and devotion, Margaret touched the hearts of all who knew her with her unwavering love for family and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Isidore Detran; her son, Robert Detran; and her siblings, John Renzi, Phyllis D’Arrigo, Pauline Smallwood, and Mary Gentile.
Margaret leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her memory close: her son, James (Amy) Detran of Liverpool; her granddaughter, Laurie Scarsciotti (Carl Kendrat) of East Syracuse and Melissa Muolo (David Fiore) of Marcellus; she was blessed with five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; her sister, Rose Snyder of Syracuse; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held for immediate family.
