Margaret Ann "Peggy" Heffron's Obituary
Margaret Ann Heffron “Peggy”, 80, of Bartow, FL and previously of Bridgeport, NY, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022. She was born and raised by her late parents, Kenneth Van De Water and Margaret Trask in Fulton, NY. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1959 and received credits from Keuka College. She was married to the love of her life, the late Leonard Heffron on September 27, 1968 and celebrated 34 years of marriage. She worked at Carrier Corp, CDCC in the 1980s.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean DeLapp of Bridgeport, and her son, Leonard Heffron, daughter in law, Megan of Clay. Also surviving are her treasured granddaughters, Kallie Ann Heffron and Hannah Rae DeLapp. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was happiest in moments shared with them. She was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her dear friends over good food and merlot. Later in life she vacationed with her husband to their favorite spot in Stowe, Vermont. She had also visited England and a trip to Hawaii with her best friend, Linda.
She was predeceased by her husband, Len and son-in-law, Mick DeLapp and some dear friends and family. Peggy was immensely proud of her family and was known by all for her fun-loving personality. We love and will miss you greatly!
