Margaret (Napolitano) Hoffsher 's Obituary
Margaret (Napolitano) Hoffsher, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away at her brother’s home on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Leo and Philomena (Aiello) Napolitano, Sr. Margaret was employed with Onondaga County in the Welfare Department for over 25 years. She was a communicant of Assumption Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, James F. “Moose” Hoffsher in 2015 and her beloved niece, Susan Salerno, who she loved as a daughter in 1990.
Margaret is survived by her two brothers, Anthony V. (Peggy) Napolitano and Leo R. (Connie) Napolitano; her sister, Esther Bowles; sisters-in-law, Thelma Napolitano and Justina Hoffsher, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Assumption Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
