Margarita "Margo" P. Skinner's Obituary
Margarita “Margo” P. Skinner born December 10, 1921 in Havana, Cuba to Marcelino and
Isabel Penenori, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Conroe, Texas.
She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Skinner, Sr. and son, William H. Skinner, Jr.
Margarita is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol; grandchildren, Lieutenant Commander
Lauren Mayo, JAGC, USN (Commander Jordan Mayo, USN) of Virginia Beach, and Mrs.
Kimberly Pierce (Mr. Luke Pierce) of Austin; her three great-grandchildren, Margaret
Mayo, Rose Mayo, and David Pierce and several nieces, nephews and “adopted”
grandchildren.
Margarita will be remembered for her incredible humor, smile, and youthful
spirit.
A heartfelt thank you to all caregivers from Conroe Health Center and Heart to Heart
Hospice Care.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at
St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay, NY 13209, followed by burial in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Cecilia’s/St. Marianne Cope Food Pantry, 105 Stanton Ave., Solvay, NY 13209.
