Maria A. (Delles) Felicia's Obituary
Maria Ann (Delles) Felicia, 70, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. Maria was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Richard J. Sr. and Frances (Carfagno) Delles.
Maria grew up on the west end of Syracuse, attended St. Patrick’s High School and graduated from Onondaga Community College with an associate’s degree.
She retired from a career in healthcare, first at Plaza Nursing Home and then at POMCO Insurance Company as a medical records technician. She loved to bake, spend time at the lake, and listen to music. She also loved animals and birds, time with her family, and a good book. Her laugh was contagious and her sense of humor was incredible, even in challenging times. She was always kind and greeted you with a smile and left you with a warm Maria hug.
Maria recently lost her husband of 52 years, Edward J. Sr., this past fall, and is also predeceased by two brothers, Fredrick J. and Richard J. Jr.
Maria is survived by her children, Edward Jr. and Daniel (Angela) Felicia; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Emilie, and Ashley Felicia, and Annamaria and Nicholas Jr. Giannantonio; her great-grandchild, Everleigh Brown and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Miller, Debra Fatcheric, Colleen Delles, and Lynn (Chrissy) Delles, and her brother, Steven (Brenda).
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A funeral Mass in celebration of Maria’s life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 10, 2026 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 7820 State Route 298, Bridgeport, NY 13030.
