I am so sad to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a bright light and friendly face that made my mom, Rose rm 315, feel more comfortable in her new surroundings. I will never forget how she helped my mom. Prayers for your whole family. Carol Verone
I was the first physical therapist to meet Maria at Elderwood. I was touched by how much love and care Joe had for her, proudly telling me, "She's a fighter." Even though we never had the pleasure of working together directly ever again, she always called me over to catch up whenever she saw me, making me feel welcome and special with each interaction. She listened with genuine interest after asking about my children. Her smile lit up the room, and she was well liked by everyone. Rest in peace to a beautiful soul.
It was a pleasure to have known Maria. I enjoyed our talks at Elderwood, her kindness to my mother, and her ability to get my mom to participate in activities was due to Maria's kind heart and gentle ways.
I will remember her sweet smile . My deepest sympathy to Joe and the family.

From the first time I met Maria when she offered me orange spice tea to last Thursday when I saw her last, I always knew she was the most amazing, compassionate and loving woman. She raised three children who are so much like her that her legacy will live on in them. Maria, my favorite memories will always be sharing the music and I will think of you often whenever I hear it.
