Maria F. Mezzo's Obituary
Maria F. Mezzo, 82, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Cosmo and Colette Mandarino, she was an owner/operator of Mandarino Associates in Syracuse.
Along with her parents, Maria was predeceased by her husband Sam in 2022; and 2 brothers, David, and Alan Mandarino.
Maria is survived by her 2 sons, Joshua (Lisa) Mezzo, and Ross Mezzo; and granddaughters, Valentina, and Adriana Mezzo.
Maria was an avid golfer who enjoyed being with her friends at Lakeshore. She also loved spending time with her lifelong friends on the phone and going out to eat. Her greatest love was her two granddaughters. She loved watching them grow up and attending all their functions.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 9:45 – 10:45 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Maria’s life at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St. Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank Morning Star rehab center in Oswego for all the care and support they gave.
