I am so saddened about this loss. My prayers to each and every one of you. She was such a caring and sweet woman and neighbor for many years. I have so many fond memories of her.
Mrs. B's eyesight and hearing may have been failing, but she was as sharp as a tack. She was strong, independent, compassionate and raised a beautiful family.
A few years ago I lost my own mom. After family members had departed, Nancy called and invited me to lunch with her and her mom. Later, I thanked Nancy (profusely)...it was just what I needed at that time. She said, it was my mom's idea!
It's been a long time since I've heard, "mom's making sauce" or "mom's making 'za", but it still makes me smile.
