Marianna "Marion" (Canestraro) Ciciriello's Obituary
Marianna “Marion” (Canestraro) Ciciriello, 99, of Syracuse, passed away at Loretto on March 26, 2019. She was born in Syracuse and spent her entire life in her home on Milton Avenue. Marion worked for E.W. Edwards and Addis/Dey’s Company. She was a communicant of St. Brigid & St. Joseph Church and was a member of their Altar Rosary Society. Marion loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorraine (Douglas) Kenney and Nancy (Thomas) Bowden; two step-sons, Cosimo (Lorraine) Ciciriello and Philip (Linda) Ciciriello; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
Marion’s family would like to thank the 8th floor staff at Loretto for their care and compassion.
Family and friends may call on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 10:30 – 11:30 am, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Marion’s life at 12 pm (noon) at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
