Marianne A. (Fodora) Carlucci's Obituary
Marianne A. (Fodora) Carlucci, 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Iroquois Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Dominic and Mary (Felicia) Fodora. Marianne enjoyed cooking and socializing with friends and family and had a strong faith in God.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her former spouses, Charles F. Gates, II, Robert Thompson, and Orlando Carlucci; a daughter, Vivian Russo; a son, Charles F. Gates, III; siblings, Dorothy Bender, Mary O’Donald, Sam Fodora, Tom Fodora, and Tony Fodora.
Marianne is survived by her grandsons, Charles F. Gates, IV and Tony Russo; granddaughters, Rosie LaVelle and Marietta Lanni; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her favorite daughter-in-law, Donna Lanni.
Calling hours will take place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212. A graveside service in celebration of Marianne’s life will follow at 2pm in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
