Marianne A. (Roche) Collins' Obituary
Marianne A. (Roche) Collins, 55, of Cicero, passed away on December 28, 2021. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late William and Ann (Goyette) Roche. Marianne graduated from Corcoran High School. She was an avid reader and music lover. Marianne was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother and will be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Robert Collins; her brother, Robert Roche and her dog Maggie.
Marianne is survived by her children: Christopher (Berjheny) Collins, Jennifer (Jason) Sobotka, and Bridget Collins; four grandchildren: Owen Sobotka, Emma Sobotka, Amara Rojer and Nicolas Collins; four brothers: Michael (Lou), Daniel (Nancy), David (Lisa) and William (Kari) Roche; her companion, Elton Mantle; several nieces and nephews and her dog Sadie.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Marianne’s life will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church of Cicero. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
