Marie A. (Sheridan) Audley's Obituary
Marie A. (Sheridan) Audley, 90, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday at home. She was born in Oswego, NY, and lived in the Syracuse area most of her life. Marie graduated from St. John the Baptist School, and attended SU, where she met her husband, and together they graduated in 1949. Marie retired as a social worker with Crouse Hospital in 1989, and formerly worked for Catholic Charities and the Department of Social Services. Marie was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be dearly missed.
She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Agnes (Moran) Sheridan, her husband of 61 years, Robert E. Audley in 2012, and a brother, Edward Sheridan.
Marie is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Michelle) Audley of Liverpool and Edward R. (Deborah) Audley of Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Alecia (Ian) Smith, Marisa Audley, Robert R. (Danielle) Audley and Steven Audley; great-grandson, Jonah Smith; her sister-in-law, Nancy Sheridan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Marie’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Private burial will be in Assumption Cemetery at a later date.
