Marie DeMauro 's Obituary
Marie (Postal) DeMauro, 89, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she was employed with Easy Washer and Julius Resnick Co. prior to being a school crossing guard for 11 years. Marie was a communicant of Assumption Church and presently with Holy Family Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Rosario (Chuck) DeMauro in 1979; her parents, Anthony and Carmella (Casella) Postal; her sister, Josephine Mastrangelo and her 2 brothers, Leonard and James Postal. Marie is survived by her daughter, JoAnne (William) Flynn of Syracuse; her sister, Yolanda Milem of Columbus, OH; 3 sisters-in-law, Carm DeMauro, Theresa DeMauro and Sarah Napoli; brother-in-law, Peter Italiano and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 11:30 AM in Assumption Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
