Marilyn Harvey's Obituary
Marilyn (Gialto) Harvey, 76, of Mattydale, passed away Sunday night at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Syracuse and retired from Elmcrest Children's Center. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, bingo, her cats and watching her grandchildren grow. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Alice Gialto; her sister, Carol Gialto and son, John Harvey. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, John Harvey; sons, Michael Martin of Mattydale and Patrick Harvey of Syracuse; daughters, Mary DiBiase of Minoa, Cathy Armstrong of Long Lake, Marge Dwyer of Baldwinsville, Jill Zagrobelny of Saranac, Monica Sherwood of Minoa, Michelle Noble of Fayetteville and Melinda Martin of North Syracuse; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brother, Frank Gialto of Syracuse; sisters, Barbara Fritzen, Joanne Gialto and Linda Verdow, all of North Syracuse along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Association, 4915 1/2 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088.
