Marion T. Bavaria's Obituary
Marion T. (Carni) Bavaria, 91, of Liverpool, passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Auburn, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Carni. Marion worked at Mr. Mike's Restaurant for many years. She was a fabulous baker and people referred to her as having "Hands of Gold". Her family was her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicola Bavaria in 1985, her son, John Bavaria, daughter-in-law, Carol (Viggiano) Bavaria and brothers, James Carni, Michael Carni and Richard Carni. Marion is survived by her two children, Patricia A. (John) Mehlek of Liverpool and Nicholas M. (Linda) Bavaria of Cicero; four grandchildren, Nicole (Samuel) Capilli, Gina (John) Kelepurovski, Melissa (Philip) Giblin and Nicholas J. Bavaria; five great-grandchildren, John and Bianca Capilli, Michael, Natalie and Anna Kelepurovski; a sister, Sylvia (Carmen) Crupe of Liverpool; a brother, Laurence Carni of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Margaret's Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
