Marion M. (Brigandi) Cornish's Obituary
Marion M. (Brigandi) Cornish, 84, of Fairmount, passed away peacefully on Sunday with her loving family by her side. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine Brigandi. Marion was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Fairmount. She was also a member and Past President of the Tipperary Hill American Legion Post 1361 Ladies Auxiliary. Marion was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert J. Cornish and her sister, Martha Santorelli.
Marion is survived by her three daughters, Deborah (Alvin) Burch of Weedsport, Judy (Roma) Miller of Baldwinsville and Wendy (Randy) Bochino of Fairmount; her grandchildren, Alvin (Carolyn) Burch, Roma (Sheena) Miller, Erica Miller, Randy, Chelsea and Robert Bochino; her sister, Josephine Carelli, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 am on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Marion’s life at 9:00 am at Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
