Marion (Mastriano) Riccardi's Obituary
Marion (Mastriano) Riccardi, age 99, formerly of Syracuse, passed away with her family by her side in Manchester, MA on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Marion was born in Syracuse and resided in Manchester, MA for the past 13 years. She was an elementary school teacher and guidance counselor, having retired after 30 years of service in the North Syracuse Central School System.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Riccardi in 2009 and her daughter, Rosalie R. Pirro in 1994.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Marilyn “Mimi” (Ross) Mancuso of Fort Worth, Texas; her son, Donald (Anne) Riccardi of Gainesville, Georgia; her daughter, Jeanne (Dominic) Paratore of Manchester, MA; a son-in-law, Donald (Maria) Pirro of Syracuse; and daughter-in-law Barbara Riccardi (Tony Chastain), of Dawsonville, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Lisa Pirro, Ross Mancuso Jr, Lynn Pirro Burns, Maria Mancuso, Kristen Paratore Bock, Todd Paratore, and Joey Beighey; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Jenny Leone, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 11:30 am in St. John the Baptist Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 am on Tuesday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse, NY.
