Mark E. "Magoo" Wallace's Obituary
Mark E. “Magoo” Wallace, 42, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a courageous 3 1/2 year battle with brain cancer on Friday at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born in Syracuse and was a 1992 graduate of CW Baker High School in Baldwinsville. Mark worked at G&C Foods for over 18 years as a Transportation Coordinator. He loved sports and was a member of many softball and kickball leagues. He was an avid and well known bowler in the Syracuse Community. Mark was a huge Denver Broncos, NY Yankees and Syracuse Orangemen fan; he loved tailgating prior to SU games. Mark was most happy when surrounded by friends and family, especially his daughter Adriana.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 10 years, Taryn (Levanti) Wallace; his 6 year old daughter, Adriana Bella Wallace; his parents, John and Mary (O’Brien) Wallace; three brothers, John R. Wallace, Jr., James (Jennifer) Wallace and Timothy Wallace; nieces and nephews, Alexis and Zachery Majerus, Tyler and Gabriel Wallace; his father and mother-in-law, Louis and Ann Levanti; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Leandre Majerus.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
