Marlene A. Molella's Obituary
Marlene A. Molella, 66, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2020 in the comfort of her beloved home. She was born in Syracuse to the late Filbert A. and Margaret (DeSalvo) Molella and graduated from Westhill High School. Marlene continued her education at OCC and went on to become a dental hygienist for many years. Devoted to her faith, she was a member of Saint Charles of Borromeo Church in addition to her adoptive church family from the Wednesday night Novena at the Sacred Heart Basilica, as well as the La Pieta International Prayer Group.
Besides her parents, Marlene is predeceased by her brother Phil. She leaves behind her uncle, Anthony DeSalvo, and many cousins and friends.
Marlene’s loved ones would like to thank her aides, Johari, Auriel and Dalenisha for their loving care and compassion.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 9:30 – 10:15 am at St. Charles-St. Ann’s Church, 417 S. Orchard Road, Syracuse, NY followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am celebrated in the church. Entombment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene’s memory to La Pieta International Prayer Group Inc., 3968 W. Lunt Ave., Lincolnwood, IL 60712.
