Mary (Sardella) Addabbo's Obituary
Mary (Sardella) Addabbo, 85, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 in Thousand Oaks, CA. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Nicolas and Ermina (Rossi) Sardella. Over the years Mary worked at General Electric, Arnone Studio, Century Decorating and Syracuse Rigging. She was a past member of Geddes Vets Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, knitting, crochet, playing cards, backgammon and bingo. Most of all Mary cherished FAMILY TIME.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Frank Cutre; her second husband, Frank N. Addabbo; three siblings, Frank Cronotti, Rose Calandra and Richard Sardella.
Mary is survived by two sons, Frank J. Cutre of Newbury Park, CA and Peter J. (Dawn) Addabbo of Memphis, NY; her grandson, Cole J. Addabbo of Memphis, NY; siblings, Genevieve Lando of Camillus, NY, Nicholas Sardella of Rochester, NY and Lucille Viola of Liverpool, NY, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Mary’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
