Mary E. (Agrippino) Mangino's Obituary
Mary E. (Agrippino) Mangino, 89, of Syracuse, passed away at the Francis House on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, NY and graduated from North High School in 1946. Mary was employed at R.E. Dietz Company as a purchasing agent for 40 years, retiring in 1992. She volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the gift shop for over 20 years and was an active member of both St. Daniel’s Senior Wisdom People and Magnarelli Community Center for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis J. Mangino in 1996; her parents, Nicholas and Cosima (Lillo) Agrippino; her brother, Placido Agrippino and sister, Marcia (Stanley) Lenkiewicz.
Mary is survived by her brother, Anthony Agrippino of Manlius, NY; nephews and nieces, Michael and Drew Agrippino of Sacramento, CA; Nicholas (Dorothy) Agrippino of Manlius, NY; Sheila (Robert) Faulkner of Fayetteville, NY; Cynthia Lenkiewicz (Dave Polek) of New York, NY; and Mark Lenkiewicz of Atlanta, GA; several great-nieces and great-nephews, along with loving family members in Monopoli, Italy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 26, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:10 pm in St. Daniel Church, 3004 Court Street, Syracuse, NY. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 -7:00 pm (TODAY) Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
