Mary Ann (Frijo) Gugliotta's Obituary
Mary Ann (Frijo) Gugliotta, 73, of Syracuse, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, March 1, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse and retired from Key Bank after many years of service. Mary Ann enjoyed taking trips to various casinos. She loved cooking and spending time with family and friends, especially on holidays.
She was predeceased by her father, Dominick Frijo; brother and sister-in-law, Frank (Maria) and her sister, Alice.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Anthony Gugliotta, Sr.; her five children, Anthony Gugliotta, Jr., Michael J. Gugliotta, Theresa and Michelle Gugliottta, all of Syracuse and Robert (Patty) Gugliotta of Fayetteville; her close family friend and third daughter, Dawn Colucci of Syracuse; one granddaughter, Amanda (Adam) Lowenstein; two great-grandchildren, Grace Ann and Jack Michael; two sisters, Carmella Frijo of Syracuse and Lena (Thomas) Evans of Elmira; two brothers, Dominick (Marcia) Frijo of Liverpool and Harold “Red” (Jill) Lockwood of Liverpool, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Mary Ann’s life at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
