Mary Anne (Perrotti) Gorski's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Anne (Perrotti) Gorski, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandma, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many on Monday, March 24, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 71 after her courageous fight with cancer.
Mary Anne was born on August 16, 1953, in Syracuse, NY to the late Richard and Mabel (Clements) Perrotti. She graduated from CCBI and went on to work as a legal secretary for lawyers Anthony Grosso and David Rizzo. She worked as a Teaching Assistant for the North Syracuse School District. After receiving her associate’s degree from Columbia College, she became a school secretary for Gillette Road Middle School and Smith Road Elementary. She retired as a secretary for a director at the North Syracuse District Office.
Mary Anne touched so many hearts with her bubbly personality, infectious laughter, her kindness, her caring, and her beautiful smile. She was an avid traveler and especially loved cruises. Family meant everything to Mary Anne. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her 7 beloved grandchildren. Her unwavering strength was an inspiration to us all.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Mabel and her granddaughter, Addison Kastler.
Mary Anne is survived by her husband, Edwin Gorski of Cicero; 3 daughters, Noelle (Timothy) Raymond of Clay, Andrea Kastler of Cicero, and Heather (Joseph) Bessette of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Briar, Sloane, and Kane Raymond, Logan, Adley, and Charley Kastler, and Hartleigh Bessette; 2 sisters, Susan (Dave) Potter, and Kathleen (Julius) Perrotta, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Mary Anne’s life will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday April 3, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church of Cicero. She will be laid to rest in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
