Mary Anne (Gorgoni) Zaccanelli's Obituary
Mary Anne (Gorgoni) Zaccanelli, 84, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023. She was born in Auburn, NY, daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Perrone) Gorgoni. Mary Anne worked several dedicated years as head nurse for Dr. Elstein in Syracuse. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and loved nothing more than spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Zaccanelli; her son, Steven Zaccanelli; sisters, Rosemary Previtire and Annette Gorgoni, and her brother, Anthony Gorgoni.
Mary Anne is survived by her daughter, Susan (Chris) Roberts; two sons, Scott and Brian Zaccanelli; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph and Brian Roberts; Brandon, Samuel, Brooke and Allee Zaccanelli; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Tina Stuper, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Assumption Cemetery at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
