Mary (Giglio) Barricella's Obituary
Mary (Giglio) Barricella, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Anthony and Nancy (Marzullo) Giglio. Mary enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with all of her family, especially at Christmas. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed.
She was predeceased by her son, Patsy Barricella and four siblings, Carmella, Sally, Samuel and Frank.
Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Nicholas A. Barricella; her son, Nicholas P. Barricella of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Marnique, Melissa, Alex and Nicholas P. Jr., two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Gabriella, along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME is handling funeral arrangements.
