Mary J. Bova's Obituary
Mary J. (Russo) Bova, age 94, passed away quietly at her home on Tuesday. She lived 80 years of her life in Syracuse before moving to Cicero. Mary retired in 1978 after 30 years of service at General Electric. Her favorite pastime was cooking, cleaning and decorating her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, James Bova; her son, Phillip Bova; son-in-law, Robert Coon and sister, Anna Quinto. Mary is survived by her daughter, Jo (Dolly) Coon; 4 grandchildren, Gary (Mary) Coon, Colleen Coon, Jason (Jeanette) Bova and Meredith (Michael) Ritter; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers, Steve (Connie) Russo, Charles (Lola) Russo, Paul (Barbara) Russo, Sam (Reta) Russo and James Russo; 2 sisters, Josephine (Carmen) Spoto and Faye Militi; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 9:00 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 10:00 AM in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
