Mary (Lanzafame) Cimino's Obituary
Mary (Lanzafame) Cimino, 88, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home. She was born in Canastota, NY, the daughter of Sam and Margaret Lanzafame. Mary was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Cimino in 1970. Mary is survived by her three children, Carmel (Kevin) Ross, Joe (Pamela) Cimino and Samuel (Linda) Cimino; three grandchildren, Meredith Ross, Samuel Cimino and Heather Cimino; a brother, James Lanzafame; a sister, Josephine (Douglas) Verzole and her special friend and caregiver, Louise. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00 am in St. Daniel's Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Area Meals on Wheels.
