Mary (Repisardi) Condolora's Obituary
Mary (Repisardi) Condolora, 90, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at her home in Lyncourt. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she moved with her mother to Syracuse at the age of 5. Mary soon became an orphan and grew up in St. Vincent’s orphanage where she made several great lifetime friends. Mary worked at the Mohegan Market on Salina St. where she ran the deli counter and met her husband Jimmy. They have been happily married for 57 years and lovingly raised 4 children. Mary was a faithful member of St. Daniel’s Church.
A lover of SU basketball (and shouting at the TV), the Yankees (never missed a game), and Chinese Checkers (was impossible to beat), Mary also got together weekly with her friends from St. Vincent’s to play cards, Yahtzee, and other games, as well as eat at the Gardenview Diner. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids and as a typical Italian grandma, was always pushing food – especially treats. Mary will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, James Condolora; sons, Mark (Linda) Condolora of Baldwinsville, Paul (Marcy McCall) Condolora of Los Angeles, CA, Luke (Laura) Condolora of Darien, CT; daughter, Maria (Clem) Terino of East Syracuse; sister, Carmella Walker of Lyncourt; grandchildren, Stacey, David, Lucy, Mary, Jamie, Jordan, Vincent, Marisa, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Julia, James; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Mary’s life at 12:10 pm in St. Daniel’s Church. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
